Formly: Forms · Last updated: October 9, 2026
This policy explains how Formly: Forms (the “App”) accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use its features. For questions, contact skochserhii@gmail.com.
Information we access
When you sign in with Google, the App requests basic account information (such as your email address, profile details, and account identifier) to identify your account and support sign-in. With your authorization, the App accesses Google Forms and Google Drive information needed to display and manage your forms, edit questions, read responses, and support form-related operations. Access is limited to the permissions shown in the Google consent screen.
How we use Google account permissions
- Basic sign-in (openid, email, profile): authenticate you and display account information.
- Google Forms access: create and manage forms and support form operations.
- Forms body: create and edit form questions and structure.
- Forms responses (read-only): display and analyze submitted answers.
- Google Drive access: discover and manage forms stored in your Google Drive, including forms created outside the App, and support related file operations.
AI processing and data sharing
When you use AI-powered features, form content and responses may be sent to Google's Gemini service to generate summaries, assist with analysis, or provide related AI functionality. Do not use these features with information you do not have permission to process. AI-generated results may contain errors.
Storage and retention
The App uses Firebase services, including Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Storage. Depending on the features you use, these services may store account identifiers, form settings, access credentials, form-session metadata, and video recordings of form completions. Form settings may include access controls such as password hashes and scheduling or response-limit settings. Your Google Forms and their responses remain in your Google account unless you change or delete them there.
Some backend records and uploaded recordings currently have no automatic expiration schedule. Signing out removes stored Google refresh credentials from the device and the App's backend, but signing out alone does not delete all Firebase records or recordings. Recordings may be deleted individually through the App where that feature is available.
Account access, deletion, and requests
You can sign out in the App. You can also revoke the App's access to your Google account through your Google Account's third-party connections settings. To request access to or deletion of personal data held by Formly, email skochserhii@gmail.com with the subject “Formly Data Request.” We will review your request and explain the steps available, subject to applicable law and verification of account ownership.
Security
We use access controls and service security features to help protect information. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Formly's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used for user-facing App features as described here and is not sold or used for advertising targeting.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App or its data practices. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
